Our Mission
Our mission is to spread the Gospel to speakers of Chinese Mandarin wherever they may be through whatever media are available by giving voice to God’s word, that is the Bible. We additionally provide live instruction on the Bible in Mandarin Chinese to local Chinese and Taiwanese believers and nonbelievers through Bible studies and preaching. We also provide English translations of our lessons that enable those who would like to increase their understanding of English to be able to watch our lessons in both languages.

Justin May
Justin is the lead minister at Vocal Ministry, a Christian nonprofit, since it’s founding in 2024. Justin graduated from the prestigious Defense Language Institute from the Chinese Mandarin Basic Course in 1994 and from the Thai Basic Course in 1999. He was also a Mandarin instructor at the same institute from 2010-2013. Justin honorably served in the United States Navy for over 20 years before retiring at the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He then ran a successful auto reconditioning business until it was shut down due the COVID epidemic. Justin then decided to pursue a degree in ministry full time. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Mandarin from Excelsior College in 2008 and is slated to complete his Master of Arts in Biblical Ministry in Spring 2025. He has over 30 years of experience as an interpreter of Mandarin and over 20 years of experience as a Thai interpreter. He has experience as a Bible instructor and preacher in Mandarin Chinese since 2020. Justin’s passion is to spread the word of God to speakers of Chinese Mandarin and to train up believers in Christ using their mother language.
